Tuesday 18th February 2014

On Tuesday 18th Febuary I recorded myself for the whole day with a portable sound recorder. The recording of the day (10 hours) was then put through speech to text and the whole day is transcribed by speech to text software. The Result is a 10 hour video (just sound) with the subtitles interpreting the sounds as you hear them. In this experiment the range & capabilities of the speech translation program (BMP adobe premier pro) is tested and its a response to phonology and acoustics is understood. The misinterpretation of the sounds i encounter on my day occasionley form articulate reponses to the environment, for example when I wake up at the beginning the software interprets the sounds as "mm, room, home"
